Okay, I'm officially excited. Pasture Palooza is back! Our fall farm festival returns to Eagle Eye Farm on Saturday, October 17, from 9am to 4pm. This is our second year (we started in 2025), and Pasture Palooza happens every October. Our first Pasture Palooza was October 25, 2025.
Why a Palooza?
Fall is one of my favorite times on the farm. The air is crisp, the alpacas are fluffing back up after shearing, and the animals are full of energy now that the summer heat is behind us. It felt like the perfect time to throw a big celebration and invite our whole farm community out to enjoy it together.
We've had so many wonderful people visit, follow along online and cheer on our animals over the years. Pasture Palooza is our way of saying thank you and making a day of it.

A farm full of friends
With more than 130 animals across 14 species, there's no shortage of guests of honor. Alpacas, goats, Kune Kune pigs, Valais Blacknose sheep, mini Highland cattle, bunnies, porcupines, kangaroos and the rest of the gang will all be here, probably wondering why there are so many extra people around and whether any of them brought snacks.
Fall is the perfect time to visit
October is a cozy, beautiful time on the farm. Our alpacas have had months to grow back their fleece since spring shearing, so they are well on their way to full teddy-bear fluff. The mini Highland cattle are growing in their shaggy winter coats, and the cooler temperatures put just about everyone in a playful mood. Add fall colors, and you have the makings of some seriously great family photos.
Who should come?
Everyone! Families, couples, friend groups, grandparents, toddlers and teenagers who pretend they're too cool for farm animals right up until a goat picks them as a best friend. If you've never visited before, this is a fantastic first time. If you're a regular, come celebrate with us.
Tips for event day
- Dress for the weather. It's October in Wisconsin, so anything is possible. Layers, layers, layers.
- Wear comfy, closed-toe shoes. It's a working farm with some uneven ground.
- Bring your camera. Fall colors plus fluffy animals is a winning combination.
- Plan your route. We're at N7802 County Road F in River Falls, about 35 to 40 minutes from Minneapolis-St. Paul. Turn at the big green Eagle Eye Farm sign. Parking is free.
