I get a lot of messages that go something like this: "I'm in love with that alpaca. Can I take her home?" And while I appreciate the enthusiasm (truly), the answer is no. But there's something almost as good: you can sponsor one of our animals.
What is an animal sponsorship?
An animal sponsorship is a way to support a specific animal on our farm. Your sponsorship helps cover the everyday costs of caring for that animal, and in return, you get to feel a special connection to them and follow along with their life on the farm. It's like having a pen pal, except your pen pal is fluffy, slightly sassy and lives in River Falls.
Why sponsorships matter
Caring for more than 130 animals across 14 species is a big job, every single day of the year. There's hay, feed, fresh bedding, fencing, vet care, hoof and toenail trims, shearing and a whole lot more. Sponsorships help make all of that possible. They're one of the ways our community helps keep the farm the healthy, clean, happy place it is.
