These are prehensile tail porcupines. They use their tail as a 5th appendage. Their favorite snacks are sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, and nutritional biscuits.
Their quills are equivalent to human hair. Despite popular belief, they can not throw their quills. But, when they are scared, they puff up their quills. If they are touched when puffed up, their quills will release.
