So you're thinking about coming out to the farm for the first time? Yay! We love first-timers. There's nothing better than watching someone meet a kangaroo or a porcupine for the very first time and realize, oh, this is NOT a regular farm. Here's a quick guide so you show up ready to have a great day.
Where we are
Eagle Eye Farm is at N7802 County Road F in River Falls, Wisconsin, about 35 to 40 minutes from Minneapolis-St. Paul. When you get close, look for the big green Eagle Eye Farm sign and turn at that drive. Parking is free and on site, so no circling the block.
When we're open
We're open 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Yes, really. Holidays included. Plan to wrap up and be off the farm by about 4pm so the animals can settle in for the evening and our crew can finish up chores.
Do you need a reservation?
For a self-guided tour, nope. Come any time between 10 and 4. There's no time slot to worry about. Some experiences, like a guided tour, Walking with the Alpacas, alpaca and goat yoga, and the porcupine experience, do need a reservation, so book those ahead. Any of our animal experiences also go along with a farm tour ticket.
What to wear
Wear whatever is comfortable! This is a working farm, so closed-toe shoes you don't mind getting a little dusty are a smart call. Check the weather and dress for it, because tours run rain, shine or snow. Layers are always a good idea in Wisconsin.
How long to plan for
Most visits run about one to two hours. That's plenty of time to meet the alpacas, goats, pigs, sheep, cattle, bunnies, kangaroos and everybody else without feeling rushed. If you add an animal experience, give yourself a little extra time.
Bringing the family
- Kids 2 and under are free.
- Strollers are welcome.
- There's an outdoor restroom on site.
- Guests in wheelchairs visit us all the time. It's a working farm, so some ground is uneven, but our staff are always happy to help.
What makes us different
We have more than 130 animals across 14 species, so it's a lot more than alpacas (although we do love our alpacas, and we're proud they were named the #1 small alpaca farm in the country in 2022 and the #1 medium alpaca farm in 2023 by the Alpaca Owners Association). You'll also notice how clean the farm is. Our crew picks up after the animals multiple times a day, and it shows.
